  • Kuala Lumpur, 1 April 2024 – Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) via its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm Allianz4Good, supported the Fixing Potholes initiative – a CSR initiative through partnership with a traffic survey company Fox Traffic Sdn Bhd – to address road safety concerns by repairing 100 potholes across Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya.

The initiative aimed to mitigate road accidents and vehicle damages within the Subang Jaya City Council and Petaling Jaya City Council areas.

Head of Allianz4Good Ng Siew Gek, emphasised the project's goal of enhancing road safety for the community.

“Potholes can cause vehicle damage and can lead to severe injuries or fatalities. At night or in adverse weather conditions, there is poor road visibility and pose greater hazards. Public safety is a shared social responsibility and we saw this partnership as beneficial to road users.”

Director of Fox Traffic Howie Gan expressed that the organisation is grateful to Allianz General for the support.

“Allianz General’s commitment to community well-being and dedication in making a difference ensures safer roads which enhances the overall quality of life for road users.”
