  • Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Malaysia) employees nationwide participated in the annual World Cleanup Day and collected 1,000.36kg of waste as well as planted seedlings last September.

    The initiative was in conjuction with Allianz Charity Day, an initiative by Allianz Malaysia to promote volunteerism among employees, which started in September along with the World Cleanup Day, and will end in November.

    For World Cleanup Day, employees organised several cleanup activities in areas ranging from beach cleanup in Pantai Tanjung Tuan, Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan, to park cleanup in Taman Rekreasi Sultan Abdul Aziz (Padang Polo), Ipoh in Perak.

    Some 460 employees from 24 departments and branches collectively spent 1,768 hours for the volunteering events. Employees from the Kuala Terengganu Branch collected and disposed of the most waste, amounting to 150kg.

    Head of Allianz4Good, Ng Siew Gek said Allianz Malaysia is delighted to be a part of World Cleanup Day this year to tackle global waste crisis.

  • “At Allianz Malaysia, we are always mindful of the impact we created for the future generation. We are proud of our employees, who are aware of the effort needed to manage the waste crisis and go out of their way to organise their own cleanup activities.“

  • Last year, Allianz Malaysia organised a digital cleanup in conjuction with World Cleanup Day, where the Company reminded its employees to be mindful of digital waste, and dispose of nonessential emails, documents and pictures among others.
Kuala Terengganu Branch collected the most waste at Kampung Fikri in Setiu amounting to 150kg on 29 September 2023
Allianz Care Services organised its cleanup at Bagan Lalang, Sepang on 23 September 2023.
