In an increasingly complex risk environment shaped by environmental and social challenges, building resilience requires trust. Allianz Malaysia’s sustainability approach is focused on three key areas - Livable Planet, Resilient Society, and Responsible Business - supported by strong governance and transparent reporting. Together, these pillars guide how we integrate sustainability across our business, manage risks responsibly, support a responsible transition, and build long‑term trust with our customers, stakeholders, and the community around us.

The Sustainability Committee, established by the Board and comprising top management of the Group, is responsible for making decisions on sustainability and climate-related risks and opportunities and championing these initiatives throughout the Group. It serves as a forum for holistic discussions and considerations on sustainability initiatives, convening quarterly meetings to monitor strategy performance and providing progress updates to the Board on a half-yearly basis. Sustainability and climate-related risks and opportunities are being addressed within relevant Board Committees, such as the Risk Management Committee.

Please refer to the Framework and Governance section for more details.

Allianz Malaysia regularly reviews the sustainability matters most important to our business and stakeholders. These priorities shape our approach to creating long-term value and delivering positive environmental, social and economic outcomes.

We bring sustainability to life through our products, solutions, and initiatives—supporting customers, empowering communities, and creating positive impact for the economy, society and the environment.

Our climate approach is grounded in Allianz's Climate Change Strategy. We integrate climate considerations in our organisation and across our business areas.

Our social approach is based on the belief that business can only thrive as part of an equitable society. Social considerations are embedded into our organisation, our business areas, and our corporate citizenship activities.

Our commitment to tackling environmental, social, and governance topics ensures we embed sustainability everywhere, both in our own operations and across our insurance and investment activities.
