  • Allianz Pink October and Movember 2026 aims to empower Malaysians to prioritise early detection, preventive care and informed health decisions

The Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a timely reminder that knowing the risks is only the first step. Taking action through regular screenings, informed conversations and preventive care is equally important.
  •
  • Yet fear, uncertainty, and misconceptions can often prevent individuals from seeking medical advice or going for health screenings, even when early detection can make a meaningful difference.
  •
  • In conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Life) is encouraging Malaysians to take proactive steps towards protecting their health and wellbeing through early detection, preventive care and informed health decisions.
  •
  • Allianz Life Chief Executive Officer, Giulio Slavich, said awareness should be the starting point for action.
  •
  • “Fear should never be a barrier to seeking help. Whether it starts with a conversation, a screening or a medical consultation, taking that first step can make all the difference. We want Malaysians to know that support is available and that they do not have to face the journey alone,” he said.
  •
  • As a leading life insurer, Allianz Life understands that a serious illness can impact more than a person's health. It can also affect emotional wellbeing, family stability and financial security. This is why the company continues to champion initiatives that encourage prevention, early detection and better preparedness.
  •
  • To support this effort, Allianz Life – in collaboration with Sunway Medical Center Damansara – will host Allianz Pink October and Movember 2026 on 24 October 2026, bringing together healthcare professionals, wellness experts and community partners to help Malaysians better understand cancer risks, prevention and the importance of regular health screenings.
  •
  • ”Through Allianz Pink October and Movember 2026, we hope to create a welcoming space where people can learn from experts, ask questions and feel more confident about taking positive action for their health and future,” Giulio added.
  •
  • While inspired by Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event takes a broader approach to health awareness for both women and men. Participants will gain insights from medical experts on breast, cervical, and prostate cancers, including risk factors, prevention strategies and the importance of early detection, among others. The programme will also feature wellness and nutrition sharing sessions aimed at promoting healthier lifestyle habits.
  •
  • Attendees will have access to complimentary health screenings, including blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and uric acid checks, as well as breast examinations for women. Healthcare partners will also offer consultations and information on preventive care and health screening options.
  •
  • Allianz Life invites members of the public to join Allianz Pink October and Movember 2026 on 24 October 2026 (Saturday), from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at ROM 8, Metal Bee in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
