Forty-five cars. eight checkpoints. eight challenges. What more could you ask for in a motor-hunt?

The Allianz Road Rangers Amazing Hunt was all that and more as some 180 participants took part in the event on 13 October 2019. The Hunt flagged off at Allianz Arena near KL Sentral and finished at Amverton Cove Golf and Island Resort, Carey Island.

The Hunt featured an Open Category (open to public) and Closed Category (open to Allianz Malaysia employees and agents). Each team comprised of three to four participants, with at least two participants holding valid driving licenses.

In the Open Category, Pasangan Garu-Garu emerged as winners, taking home RM3,000. This was followed by Antetokaounmpo in second place (RM2,000) and Hunterz in third place (RM1,500). In the Closed Category, the top three finishers were Leng Chai Lui (RM2,000), Ant Networkerz (RM1,500), and Tell You Later (RM1,000).

On top of that, the fourth and fifth placed teams in both categories took home prizes worth up to RM3,000 while 12 lucky draw prizes were also given out.

The Hunt focused on Allianz Road Rangers, a complimentary service offered by Allianz Malaysia to all of its Motor Comprehensive (Private Car) policyholders. The service provides accident assistance to Allianz customers nationwide and the six touch points. The service offers a 24-Hour Dedicated Call Center; Allianz Road Rangers: Bike brigade; Allianz Road Rangers: Tow trucks; Transportation services; Allianz Motor ODX Claims; and Vehicle Delivery.

“We had an amazing event. We hope that the participants had a great time getting acquainted with Allianz Road Rangers, our complimentary accident assistance. It was important that they not only have fun, but were able to embark on an interactive excursion to discover each of the six touch points that the service offers which promises an easy, seamless journey when making an accident claim,” said Sean Wang, Chief Operations Officer of Allianz Malaysia Berhad.

On top of that, two lucky winners from a radio contest on Fly FM and Hot FM got to compete in the hunt with their favourite deejays.

Hot FM deejay Zetty who teamed up with contest winner Amin Irfan Masri and his friends Amin Farhan Masri and Ahmad Khairi Adli Ahmad Zakuan came up tops in a head-to-head battle with Fly FM deejay Ivan to take home bragging rights and a cash prize of RM1,000.  Ivan’s team who was made up of contest winner Hari Prahlad Puvanasvaran and his friends Hafizuddin Hassim and Muhammad Nazmi Mohd Ropi took home a consolation prize of RM600.
