Ten minutes to an hour to confirm your motor claim amount? It’s possible with Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad’s upgraded Allianz Motor ODX Claims. 

Launched nationwide in September, the Allianz Motor ODX Claims is a straight-through process that allows the system to confirm the claim amount without human intervention. Instead, claims will now go through a series of rules integrated into the backend system. In a nutshell, it simply means that a claim which previously took about three to five days to be approved can now be completed from anywhere between 10 minutes to one hour. 

“Allianz is in the business of protection and providing simply the best value for customers. And what better way to put that into action than with the Allianz Motor ODX Claims – a first of its kind in the industry - in ensuring our customers insurance claims is made easy every step of the way,” said Jayapragash Amblavanar, Head of Claims. 

The Allianz Motor ODX Claims promises to improve the Company’s turn-around time for OD (own-damage) Claims Approval, End-to-end Motor OD Claims Process and improve overall customer satisfaction. As of 3 November 2016, Allianz General has processed 1,211claims through the Allianz Motor ODX Claims system. 

“We understand that with claims, customers are looking for a service that is fast, fair and accurate. The Allianz Motor ODX Claims delivers that through its speedy claims approval and quick turn-around time. Now, our customer’s waiting time (to find out the outcome of the claim) has been slashed by more than half and their cars being repaired so much quicker. It’s an ideal claims journey in an imperfect world,” added Jayapragash. 

The Allianz Motor ODX Claims is applicable for all claims estimated below RM15, 000 (including GST) that is submitted from Allianz Authorized Panel Repairers nationwide.
