The AJFC Malaysia League which began on 18 March is in full swing with the league entering its third week in the Central Region. 


Pawana United Football Club from Selangor is among the 19 teams competing in the Central Zone matches which are on-going at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Coach Mohd Amir bin Abdullah says his team has been training vigorously and he is both confident and hopeful that some of his young charges will be among the top 18 players to selected for the Central Zone.

Apart from the Central Region, the competition will also be played across five other regions – East Malaysia, South, North, and the East Coast. The players will compete in the League to win 13 spots at AJFC Asia in Bali, Indonesia in July. At AJFC Asia, the players will vie for three spots to train with record 26-time German Champions FC Bayern Munich’s youth coaches in Munich, Germany in August.
