Allianz Malaysia recently conducted its road safety class for a total of 120 primary school students from two schools in the Klang Valley. The Company conducted the class at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Bukit Jalil in Bukit OUG for 60 students on 17 October and at Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Muda in Sentul for 60 students on 18 October. The programme was part of the schools’ year-end activity to promote the importance of road safety among their students. “We believe that road safety awareness should be nurtured from young with simple programmes like this at the primary school level. Interactive programmes like this can be a lot of fun whilst teaching them about road safety and inculcate civic mindedness and courtesy,” said Ng Siew Gek, Head of Allianz4Good of Allianz Malaysia. The children and their teachers at both schools also received an Allianz Road Safety Tips Booklet paired with the reflective wristbands at the end of the programme.
