In driving quality customer experience, Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad Kuantan Branch celebrated their first ever Allianz Customer Day on 30 January 2016.

The event featured a carnival-like atmosphere was held between from 9am to 4pm at the UTC Kuantan along Jalan Stadium attracted about 1,000 patrons.  

“At Allianz, we have always been striving on creating quality customer experiences and this was just another way of doing that with a special day to honour our customers. This year we wanted to do something for the people of Kuantan. It felt like a real carnival atmosphere and we were thrilled with the response we received, seeing all the families coming out here on a Saturday,” said Sheena Chua, Allianz General Kuantan Branch Manager.

Part of the festivities included a futsal match between our agencies and other business partners such as CIMB Bank, Pos Malaysia and franchise dealers Proton and Perodua. Patrons also took part in a “Facebook like your photo” competition, lucky draws as well as road safety activities. The event also featured a children corner with treats like ice cream and Milo drinks.

The Allianz Explorer Truck also made a pit stop at the event as part of the Allianz Emergency Protection Nationwide Road Tour 2016.  As part of the road tour, patrons were also able to get a Body Mass Index (BMI) reading, take part in the pedometer challenge as well as a drawing contest (kids below 12years old) as well as the screening of the video footage on MyAID (Malaysians Against Irresponsible Drivers) campaign.

“By having a customer day, we also wanted to take the opportunity to reach out to our customers and the public on the importance of insurance and we were also able to share about our existing products and services with the help of our claims charter.  We did not sell any of insurance policies on that day as our aim for the event was to raise awareness and just create a fun experience for everyone involved,” added Sheena.
